To build a part-time/full-time residence, along the shore of the Bonnechere River, in the style of adobe homes of the South West
Features: This is a two-level/split-level home, with many curving walls, cathedral ceilings throughout, exposed round beams and rafters. Radiant floor heat and domestic hot water is supplied through a 650 gallon hot water heat storage tank, produced by an EPA certified wood fired hot water boiler system, by Baxi Tarm. Floor and foundation is entirely insulated, including under footings, with R-30. Walls are R-40+, and ceiling is R-80 blown in cellulose. Electricity is produced by 1980 watts of photovoltaic panels, with gas powered back-up generator.
